Though he has also done so in the past, on this album, he sings lead on none of the songs. “I’ve always wanted to be a good leader,” he says. “I didn’t care so much about being the star. It’s my band, but I don’t have to sing the lead vocal on every song. It’s never been about that for me. It’s been what it sounds like as a finished product.” This album features the current impressive Quicksilver lineup of Stephen Burwell, Ben James, Matt Flake, Eli Johnston and Jerry Cole.
