2013 – A Salute to Steel Guitarist Buddy Emmons - incl. 16 page booklet of detailed notes and rare photos. Emmons retired in 2007, and in 2013 Emmylou Harris' steel player Steve Fishell produced this superb tribute to the man. Fishell called in an A-list of musicians ranging from Greg Leisz, Paul Franklin, and Tommy White to Norm Hamlet, Dan Dugmore, and Roosevelt Collier.... 

2019 - Produced by Jim “Moose” Brown and Jamey Johnson, the 14-track Album features a stellar supporting cast including Vince Gill, Alison Krauss, Terri Clark, Cody Jinks, and others offering harmonies on the vivid collection. Enderlin has had a busy Fall defined by career firsts and incredible momentum. After sold-out shows in her first-ever UK tour, she returned to Nashville to showcase at Americanafest. Reba McEntire, Terri Clark, Rodney Crowell, Rhonda Vincent and more all recorded Enderlin-penned gems in 2019…

2021 - Known predominantly as a songwriter rather than a singer, MELVIN ENDSLEY is chiefly remembered for copyrights like 'Singing The Blues', 'Knee Deep In The Blues', 'Love Me To Pieces', 'I Like Your Kind Of Love' and 'It Happens Everytime'. However he also enjoyed a parallel recording career, and during the latter half of the 1950s he cut a dozen or so superb singles, many of which are nowadays sought-after collectors' artefacts, although none were significant hits. This compilation anthologises his singles for RCA-Victor, MGM and Hickory, between 1957-61 and stacks up as a remarkable legacy; close your eyes, and this sounds just like someone's 'Greatest Hits' collection.

1999 – (ganz rar !!!) - Here's a great, straight-ahead modern day country album. There's real honky tonk blood and guts in this music and singer-guitarist Anders Thomsen is about as real as the deal gets. Thomsen's plummy baritone vocals and twang perfect Telecaster guitar accompaniment fits like a glove with Michael Howard Smith's simple but kickass drumming and Mark Miller's equally succinct bass work. In between the regular tracks are portions of a sermon being delivered by a drunk preacher, surreally great in and of itself. The perfect aural antidote to Garth and Shania, it doesn't get much better than this.

1997 - (sehr rar !!!) - Raw, stripped-down country is the operative here on the debut album from this New York trio. Singer/guitarist/songwriter Anders Thomsen eschews all the standard hat-hunk vocal and instrumental approaches endemic to modern country, providing instead straight-ahead, no-nonsense songwriting coupled with vocals and twang-worthy playing that cut to the heart of each one of these finely crafted songs. Being a country power trio has its limitations, however; what probably sounds full on the bandstand comes off a little thin sonically compared to even spartan C&W productions... 

2021 - The Faux Paws are an innovative and virtuosic folk and roots dance music trio comprised of GRAMMY®-nominated saxophonist Chris Miller, Noah VanNorstrand and Andrew VanNorstrand, who is based in Brattleboro, Vermont. Mit einer experimentellen, aber auch schlüssigen Vision verbinden sie verschiedene musikalische Elemente zu einer spaßbringenden und eigenständigen Sammlung, die tief verwurzelt in den Traditionen der Folkmusik und ihren Tänzen ist; auch mit Einflüßen von Western Swing und Bluegrass incl. 2014 - Fayssoux's follow-up to 2008's Early. Produced by Peter Cooper, I Can't Wait is a gorgeous set of songs, five of which Fayssoux wrote and all of which are elevated by her singular, dusk-shaded invitation of a voice. 2017 - Recorded in 2005 and produced by her husband, Rory Feek, and Bill McDermott, GRAMMY®-winner Joey Feek’s solo debut, If Not for You features new solo performances from country music darling Joey Feek. This collection captures her life story and small-town roots and showcases some of the first songs she recorded in Nashville - eingespielt u.a. mit Mike Johnson & Al Perkins (steel & dobro), Stuart Duncan (fiddle & mandolin) und Chris Leuzinger (electric guitar) 

2021 - Mit einer mehr als 40-jährigen Musikkarriere hat David Ferguson bahnbrechende Alben für Johnny Cash geschrieben, ein Aufnahmestudio mit John Prine eröffnet und mit Sturgill Simpson einen Grammy-Gewinn geteilt. Das selbstproduzierte Projekt versammelt eine außergewöhnliche Besetzung von Freunden aus der Americana- und Bluegrass-Community der Stadt: u.a. Sierra Hull, Justin Moses, Margo Price, Jerry Douglas, Stuart Duncan, Béla Fleck und Tim O’Brien.

2012 - (sehr rar !!!) - CD + DVD im aufwendigem DigiPac mit ausführlichem Booklet; die legendären Odessa Tapes wurden 1972 aufgenommen, Titel (14) wie DALLAS - SHADOW OF THE MOON und ONE ROAD MORE sind auf der CD enthalten und auf der DVD "Tales From West Texas" sehen wir ein Interview mit Joe Ely, Jimmie Dale Gilmore und Butch Hancock sowie viele Einspielungen von Live Auftritten etc.

2021 - Texas country/folk supergroup The Flatlanders, featuring Joe Ely, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, and Butch Hancock, return with their first new studio album in 12 years. The album into a full band production that features several new original compositions in addition to a wide ranging selection of classics from the American songbook including Bob Dylan’s “She Belongs To Me,” George Jones’s “Treasure of Love," Townes Van Zandt's "Snowin' on Raton," and perhaps the band’s most notable live show closer “Sittin’ on Top of the World.”

2018 - Dom Flemons presents Black Cowboys pays tribute to the music, culture, and the complex history of the golden era of the Wild West. 2015 - Prospect Hill finds Flemons digging deeply into ragtime, Piedmont blues, spirituals, southern folk music, string band music, jug band music, fife and drum music, and ballads idioms with showmanship and humor, reinterpreting the music to suit 21st century audiences. The instrumentation is varied and authentic, with instruments that are era-appropriate for the style of song. This new solo piece is a joy to hear and a pleasure to truly pay attention to and analyze.
