2019 - Canada's own real yodelling cowboy, Wilf grew up around farms, horses and rodeos and is remembered in the Calgary Horsemen's Hall Of Fame. Known in the USA as 'Montana Slim' he developed a huge following around the world. These recordings were made in the late 1950s and feature him with some of Nashville's best musos as well as some tracks with just his own guitar accompaniment. If you like fiddle, steel, a yodel and a powerful voice, then Wilf's your man. Most of the tracks here never previously released in the UK.

2018 - Throughout the ‘50s and the ‘60s, westerns were unbelievably popular and dominated the TV channels. During the time the TV western craze was at its height, a couple of singers took shrewd advantage of the trend. This 2CD set is divided equally between them: Johnny Cash and Marty Robbins both proved to be more western than country, recording traditional cowboy classics like Streets of Laredo (familiar from numerous movies) alongside their own original songs about outlaws and gunfighters.

2019 - Spade Cooley was for several years one of the biggest stars of the subgenre of Country music called 'Western Swing'. This collection of some of his single releases is named after his greatest hit, 'Shame On You' The recordings, the hits and the jukebox favourites feature other artists who worked through Cooley's band to become stars on their own. These 28 wonderful recordings are amongst his greatest recordings between 1945 and1952. The fully detailed liner notes explain in detail his downfall as a popular entertainer.
